Most Americans can’t do it: Let’s see if you’re able to find the cat hiding in this picture

Optical illusions, visual puzzles, finding puzzles, hiding picture puzzles, they have many names. These Where-is-Waldo style puzzles have fascinated humanity since its very beginnings.

A hiding picture puzzle is an image that is too complex for the eye to understand fully. At first glance, everything might look normal, but the longer you look, the more you notice that something is different.

The differences can vary, from a minor detail to a new shape. Still, most of the time, an entirely different meaning will be the result.

Maybe that’s why tests like the one below have been popular for generations.

Can you find the cat?

Here comes today’s challenge.

Below, we can see a picture of a fence. It is red and looks like a typical nordic style fence.

But somewhere in the picture, a little cat is hiding.

Can you find it?

Take a close look. Not everyone can find the kitten in this image, at least not on their first try.

In other words, it isn’t easy.

Have a few clues

Did you find the cat? If not, here is the picture again, zoomed in to give you less ground to cover.

Do you see it now?

If you haven’t found it yet, here is another clue: look at the fence.

Easier now? After the next image, you’ll see the correct answer.

The cat is here

If you found the cat, congratulations! You are one of the few people who found it on their own.

If not, no worries, you’ll find the correct answer in the picture below.

Yes, there’s the cat! The little devil’s face is visible between the planks, such a cute and sneaky kitten.

The person who took this picture did it at the perfect moment!

So cool! It’s like the little rascal was trying to hide in plain sight.
