Couple Adopts Four Siblings so They Aren’t Separated, Claims “Now they Are A Happy Family”

The American couple was responsible for caring for and protecting four brothers in an orphanage.

Compassion, mercy, and patience are essential to parenting, and they extend well beyond a biological bond. That’s why an adopted parent is not altogether different from a biological one. This American couple looked after four young brothers who shared an orphanage.

Brandon and Jennifer Pratt have always wished to adopt as many children as possible.Their two-person family did not expect to grow to six overnight. After first seeing these four boys in a Christian orphanage in Recife, Pernambuco, the Pratts knew they were the ones right away and didn’t hesitate.

“At first sight, Jennifer and I both teared up,” Brandon confessed. “We knew right away they were our boys,” the narrator says.

As the couple believed adopting just one or two of the boys would immediately divvy up the family, they chose what was best for the children. As a result, Brandon and Jennifer Pratt decided to raise their family together, which would make life easier and more enjoyable for all of them. They began the legal process immediately.

Our plan was to adopt them, all four, so they wouldn’t be separated. They are calm children, and they easily adapt!” they add.

Brandon and Jennifer finally welcomed Cristiano, Leandro, William, and Enzo into their family after more than 2.5 years of paperwork. Initially, the youngsters faced significant challenges adjusting to their new families, particularly due to language barriers. They learned quickly.

After six months here, they nearly stopped speaking Portuguese and just talked English. It all happened in a flash. Now, if I say anything in Portuguese – which I have learned a bit of – they respond in English,”Jeniffer remembered.

When their mother was taken away from them and custody was taken away for neglect,

“It wasn’t easy at first, but each day has been easier, and every difficult moment, every difficult circumstance has been worth it.”

We are a joyful, loving family. Brandon said, “I couldn’t imagine our wonderfully flawed family tale any other way.”
