Man Covered in Tattoos Shares Regret as He Begins Painful Process to Remove Them
We all have things in our past that we wish we could take back. Maybe we made choices that didn’t turn out well or said something we didn’t really mean. But for most of us, those mistakes are private. For Ethan “ModBoy” Bramble, however, his past choices are very public—and hard to hide.
Ethan is a young man from Australia who became known around the world because of his extreme body modifications. Over the years, he has covered himself with more than 200 tattoos, and has also done other bold changes to his body—like stretching his ears, splitting his tongue, and even removing his belly button.
In today’s world, tattoos are more accepted than ever before. Many people get tattoos as a way to express themselves or celebrate something meaningful. But Ethan took it to a whole new level—getting tattoos on almost every part of his body, including his face.
He started his journey at just 11 years old, when he got his ears stretched. From there, he kept going with more and more modifications. Reports say that Ethan has spent around 60,000 Australian dollars (about 39,000 US dollars) on all of these changes.

At one point, he loved the way he looked. But now, he’s beginning to feel differently.
In an honest interview with LadBibleTV’s No Filter series, Ethan opened up about his regrets. “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos,” he shared. “It’s not just about wishing I looked different—it’s also about how other people see me.”
One of his biggest concerns is how his tattoos might affect his young daughter. “When I take her to school, people look at me differently,” he said. “I don’t want her to be judged or feel uncomfortable because of how I look. I went too far with the face tattoos.”
Because of these feelings, Ethan decided to start removing some of his tattoos—especially the ones on his face. He began laser tattoo removal, a long and painful process that takes time and money. It’s not easy, but he’s committed.
“I’ve been getting laser treatments for about a year now,” Ethan said. “We do it in small parts. So far, I’ve gone over the full area maybe six or seven times. I started doing it because of the anxiety I was feeling. Having a face full of tattoos made me feel really stressed.”
Ethan added that he still feels good about who he is inside, but now he wants a fresh start. “I’m happy with myself,” he said. “But I’m also excited to see what I’ll look like in two years when more of the tattoos are gone. I’m clearing the canvas.”
His story shows that it’s never too late to change. Even when we’ve made big choices, we always have the power to take a new direction. Ethan’s journey is not just about removing ink from his skin—it’s about finding peace, healing from anxiety, and setting a better example for his daughter.
It’s a brave move to admit regret and take action to fix it, especially when the whole world is watching. Many people find it hard to be honest about their past, but Ethan is facing it head-on. His story reminds us that no matter what we’ve done, we can always choose to grow, change, and move forward.
