Excited Toddler Ring Bearer Runs Down The Aisle To Greet His Mother

The bride’s walk down the aisle is one of the most memorable moments of any wedding. It is the groom’s first time seeing his bride that day, and he eagerly awaits her arrival at the altar. All eyes are on the bride as she glides down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband. Pierson, Kristie Mihelich’s 2-year-old son, raced down the aisle to meet her, making this wonderful moment a thousand times more meaningful.

Kristie Mihelich married her then-fiance Bobby Mihelich at the Planterra Conservatory in West Bloomfield, Michigan, on April 22, 2007. Yahoo reports that the couple met as business associates, but quickly fell in love. They had planned to marry sooner, but the Coronavirus pandemic forced them to postpone their wedding. The ceremony began with Kristie’s soon-to-be husband and their 2-year-old son, Pierson, who served as the ring bearer. The child was overcome with joy when his mother appeared at the end of the aisle. Peterson went down the aisle to hug his mother as his father shed a few tears.

People at the gathering recorded the touching moment on tape, and it instantly went viral. Samantha Mihelich, the couple’s niece, took photos and shared them on TikTik. The video has been viewed over 1.4 million times. She also shared the joyous occasion on Instagram, where she was showered with love and support.

“Pierson was always going to be the ring bearer since he is such an outspoken, gregarious, just natural entertainer,” Kristie told Good Morning America. “It wasn’t going so well at the rehearsal dinner the night before. “He just wanted to run about and act like a two-year-old.”

Pierson wasn’t the perfect ring bearer at first, but the vivacious toddler stole the show on the big day. Newlywed Kristin Mihelich described her son’s reaction to the outlet.

When they saw me down the aisle, their mouths dropped. He said, ‘Huh?’ as if to say, ‘Hi mom!’ and shook both of his hands energetically, and then he just runs for me,” Mihelich recalled.

She described it as “the loveliest thing.” “I expected him to just stay there and wait for me, but he was sprinting to his mother.”

According to Kristin, she could have gone home right then and been satisfied with her wedding, but Pierson’s shenanigans didn’t end there. After the ceremony, the energetic toddler walked to the dance floor to start the party.

As Kristin revealed on Good Morning America, “After dinner, he was like a little performance.” “He ate his dinner and went straight to the dance floor, where he stayed until midnight dancing.”
