Woman Uses Dating Apps To Stay At Men’s Houses After Suddenly Becoming ‘Homeless’

A woman who found herself without a home claims she uses dating apps to stay at men’s houses because she believes she’s too attractive to pay rent.

In today’s world, where technology is part of everything we do, an unexpected connection between dating apps and finding a place to live has come up.

A woman named Emily Webb has gained attention for using an unusual method to avoid being homeless, sparking mixed reactions on social media.

Instead of using dating apps to find love, she’s using them to find a place to stay and avoid paying high rent.

Emily Webb, who is 25 and from Australia’s Gold Coast, says she uses her “pretty privilege” to avoid paying rent. She explained on TikTok that she uses dating apps like Hinge to find a place to sleep at night.

“I can’t believe I’ve been wasting money on rent all this time. Life hack: if you’re hot, don’t ever pay rent,” Webb said. She added that she doesn’t tell the men she meets that she’s homeless because she doesn’t want to put pressure on them and doesn’t think she looks homeless.

Webb’s approach has caused a lot of debate online. Some people think she’s taking advantage of her looks, while others worry about her safety.

One person commented, “In tough times, you do what you have to do. She found a way to keep a roof over her head without risking her safety or dignity.” Another added, “This is kinda genius…”

But others are critical of her strategy, saying it could be dangerous. “It’s a risky move,” one viewer said. “Relying on strangers met through dating apps for a place to stay can be very unsafe. It’s a temporary fix, not a real solution.” Another person agreed, saying, “This is just ridiculous. The risks here are huge.”

In an interview with News.com.au, Webb explained that her current plan isn’t meant to be a permanent solution. She said that even though she has a successful online account and can afford about $1,000 per week in rent, she’s still had trouble finding a place to live, even when offering to pay up to a year’s rent upfront.

Webb added, “You’re only single and hot once, and I love taking advantage of it when I can. I’m just applying for apartments, and it gives me the freedom to be picky. I’m not extremely stressed about finding a place.”
