Sibling bonds are very special and irreplaceable. A brother or sister can double your joy when you share it with them. Twin sisters Amber and Autum had a lot to celebrate…
Autum Shaw and Amber Tramontana have been doing everything together since they were kids. As they grew into adulthood, they solidified their unbreakable bond even further.
Both of the sisters made headlines when they delivered their babies at the same time. They both gave birth to healthy baby girls 90 minutes apart on October 29th, 2020, which happened to be their own 33rd birthdays!
Both sisters were checked into Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. Blakely and Charleston were delivered by the same doctor, Dr. George Vick.
Charleston weighed 9 lbs., 4 oz., and Blakely weighed 7 lbs., 2 oz. It is clear that the hospital where the babies were delivered did not take the major coincidence lightly and posted about it on social media.
They posted a picture of the twins holding their bundles of joy with the caption, “Double the sweetness, double the love!”. Identical twins Autum and Amber delivered their baby girls, Charleston and Blakely, within 90 minutes of each other here at Fort Sanders Regional this week. In addition, it was Autum and Amber’s birthdays! ”
Sisters share a very strong bond. They remain inseparable even as adults. Amber and Autum attended the same college for their undergraduate and graduate degrees. The sisters both became registered nurses and later qualified as nurse practitioners.
Amber and Autum both gave birth to sons in 2018 ten weeks apart. Their sons were born with a gap, but their weights and lengths were identical.
Autum initially miscarried while trying for her second child. Initially heartbroken, she now believes God has a plan for her. After her miscarriage, she became pregnant again. The sisters revealed to each other they were pregnant just a few weeks into their pregnancies and realized they have the same due date!
“We struggled with ‘why did we have to go through this?’ After our miscarriage. “But we knew that God had a plan for us,” she says. Amber shared how she prayed for twins and now believes God gave her a better way for her baby to have a companion.
It was Autum who went into labor first when the twins delivered their sons in 2018. This time as well, everyone expected it to go similarly, but Amber was the first to go into labor.
In adjacent rooms, the sisters gave birth. According to Autum, the babies bonded immediately. “They took to each other like they had spent nine months in the womb together,” she said.
The twins are thrilled that their daughters have each other. Charleston and Blakely will share a bond similar to that of their mothers.
Amber said, “It’s the birthday present that keeps getting sweeter.”.
