First U.K. mother to give birth to 10 boys in a row gives birth to her 11th child – a girl.
The news that Alexis Brett was pregnant with a girl shocked her.
Alexis and her husband David had traveled 50 miles to a clinic that could tell her the gender immediately.
“I was expecting to hear we were having another boy. When I found out it was a girl, my face was a picture,” she told The Mirror.

In the Scottish Highlands, the 39-year-old mom lives with her 44-year-old husband David, who works as a train driver.
“I was shocked, but delighted at the same time. Now that she’s here with us, it’s a wonderful feeling,” she told the Mirror.
The ten brothers Cameron has range in age from 2 to 17 years old.
The kids have generally been better behaved around her,” dad David said. “Trying to keep quiet in case they wake her up.”
They also want to hold her and feed her – it’s been great.”
Weekly laundry load of 49
All Alexis’ boys are “special” to her, so she would have been happy if her 11th was a boy.
Because we were hoping for that elusive girl, we are frequently asked if we have so many children. The answer is ‘no’. I was happy all the same, even though Cameron wasn’t planned.”

Alexis does 49 loads of laundry a week and vacuums every day despite all the boys running around the house.
Alexis said, “We’re definitely stopping now. There won’t be any more. I said that last time, but this time I mean it. I love my family as it is now.”
It wasn’t in my plans to have a large family, but now that I do, I love it.”
Part-time fitness instructor Alexis said she’s enjoying buying pink things for the first time.
