Klay and Cole Ball are one-year-old twins who strangers cannot believe are the same because of their different skin and hair colours. Their mother, Jade Ball, 32, is from Salford, Greater Manchester.
The 32-year-old mother says the twins are a mix of her and her partner, Kade, who is half Jᴀᴍᴀɪᴄᴀɴ. Karla was born with blue eyes and blonde hair, while his twin brother, Cole, has brown hair, brown eyes and dark skin.
Jade said: “When I tell people Klay and Cole are twins, they never believe me. Many times they think it is a joke. However, once they realize I am telling the truth, they are fascinated by the boys and ask me a lot of questions about them. When we are out and about, people always stop us and ask about the twins. I am white British and the twins’ father, Kade, is half Jamaican. When we found out we were having twins, we didn’t think too much about how they would look. The only thing we assumed was that they would both look like their older brother, Cruz, now two years old, and be tanned like me and their dad. But I never expected them to be completely different from one another. Their differences were obvious when they were born, but as they age, they look even more different.”
The young mom talks about how amazed she is every day by the way her boys look and how different they are.
I think it’s really cool that they look opposite to each other. This just goes to show how crazy genes can be. Nothing about them seems related. They are very different but equally beautiful. The differences just keep growing as they continue to grow. Even though they look completely different, you can just tell that they’re brothers when you see them together. They have an unbreakable bond. They play together like a little team and they also enjoy playing with their older brother. Klay is their leader. He’s confident, mischievous, and is always up to something. Cole is a bit more reserved than Klay, but he also loves cuddling with me. However, they love attention and are little show offs. They’ve recently signed with a couple of agencies, Nemesis and Lacara, and they’ve both thoroughly enjoyed their modeling work. I love my boys and how unique they are. I couldn’t imagine them any other way, it makes them who they are”, said the mum-of-three.
