She spent the night in an expensive hotel to celebrate her 70th birthday. After she left the next morning, the receptionist gave her a $250.00 bill. She was shocked and demanded to know why the charge was so high.
The hotel is nice, but the rooms aren’t worth $250.00 for just an overnight stay. “I didn’t even have breakfast.” The clerk informed her that $250.00 was the ‘standard rate’, so she requested to speak with the Manager.
A manager appeared and was announced by the front desk: “This hotel has an Olympic-size pool and a large conference center, available.” “But I did not use either one,” she says. “Well, they are here and you could use them,” replied the manager.

According to him, she may have seen one of the hotel’s famous shows. “We have the best artists in the world here,” the director declared. “But I did not attend any of these shows,” she said.
“Well, we have them, and you could use them,” the manager replied. Regardless of the arrangements described by the manager, she responded: “But I didn’t use it! And the manager responded with his standard answer. After a few minutes of discussion with the manager, she decided to pay, wrote a check and gave it to her. The manager was surprised when he looked at the check.
“But madam, this check is only for $50.00.” “That is correct.” For sleeping with me, I charged you $200.00.” “I didn’t,”” exclaimed the very surprised Manager.
“Well, too bad, I was here, and you could have been here as well.” Don’t mess with Senior Citizens!!
