Birth Mom Records Heartfelt Message And Gives Up Her Newborn Son For Adoption After His Dad Breathed His Last

At the age of 18, Hannah Mongie learned she was pregnant with a boy. When Hannah’s boyfriend Kaden unexpectedly left her forever in his sleep, just days after hearing the heartbeat at the eight-week prenatal scan, the young growing family was torn apart. Following Kaden’s sudden d.e.a.t.h, Hannah made the heart-wrenching decision to place their baby Tagg for adoption.Hannah knew the son was her last “piece of Kaden,” but she awoke one morning with an unrelenting feeling; the baby should have been with someone else.

Hannah gave birth to Tagg in Provo, Utah, on March 21. Before handing Tagg to his adoptive parents, she spent two days with him.

It was about to take another heartwarming turn. Hannah arranged an open adoption and continues to keep in touch with Tagg every month. The adoptive parents live ten minutes away from her and she has formed an amazing bond with Emily, Tagg’s adoptive mother. “Rather than ‘giving him away’ or ‘giving him away,’ I just adopted his entire family into mine. This includes his extended family,” Hannah said. “We grew, and everyone loves each other like we’ve always been family. His mom Emily is still one of my best friends. My daughter is everything I want to be as a person and a mother. I am so gratefυl that Tagg led me to her and their family.”

Hannah recorded a very special video message for Tagg before saying her final goodbye to him. She recorded it during their intimate time together after he was born. “I hope anyone who watches this will gain a new appreciation for what the birth mom goes through when she places her child for adoption.” “It is the FARTHEST thing from a heartless action. To love someone this way is to give away your happiness for them.”

Two years later, Hannah was ready to share the video on YoυTυbe. The video now has more than 3 million views on YouTube.
