Kind 10-Yr-Old Sat With Friendless Classmate During Lunch And Received Heartwarming Thank You Note

Ravi Kahlon’s son brought home a note he had received from a lonely classmate after spending time with him, and Ravi was a proud father.

His son noticed a new student sitting by himself during lunch, so he and his friend went to sit with him.

Ravi wrote, “Proud dad moment today.”. My 10-year-old son saw a new kid sitting by himself. A friend and he decided to hang out with him over lunch.””

The new child was so grateful for being included that he wrote Ravi’s son a note that reads:Sitting outside with me
made me feel better than anything.

Thank you.
I have a question for you.
Can I start with you?
I’ll join you outside.”
As a result of the 10-year-old’s efforts to help this friendless new student, the child felt “better than anything.” The kindness and note were so lovely that thousands of people have been moved to tears.“Crying 😭 So beautiful! My son is on the spectrum (Asperger) and every time he gets a play date or he gets invited to a birthday party, I cry from relief and pure happiness. He has now many friends (so I cry a lot 😂😂😂 from joy). Bravo to your wonderful kid!”

“At the end of the day he got this lovely note,” Ravi shared.

This is a big deal. In spite of being shunned and bullied for being shy and different, my daughter sacrificed lunch with some of the few friends she had in order to befriend a new boy who was being horribly bullied, and would stand up for him. “No one in 8th grade would talk to him,” shared Marcia

My ASD son is in a Gen Ed class and whenever I was there, one of the kids helped him pack his bookbag at the end of the day. (This was a popular kid in class)” wrote Beth M.J. “Learning your kid did something nice is the best kind of pride. Years ago, my kid was hiding under the slide because he had no one to play with. A kid came and got him and made him play with his group. I wish I could thank his parents,” commented Meg N.Carolena L. wrote, “That made me cry! You should be proud of your son. I was the new kid often and it was tough. He really helped that little boy.

Thank you for being you.
