Young Man Acts As Human Chair To Support Elderly Lady Stuck In Elevator

Chivalry is d.e.a.d? Who said that? The student went out of his way to do something kind for an elderly woman.

The elevator stopped suddenly in Florida, trapping a few men and a 79-year-old woman inside.

The guys began calling for help.

It looked like they’d have to wait a while, which proved challenging for the lady. Due to fatigue, she can’t stand for long periods of time.

Cesar Larios said, “We were riding with a very nice elderly woman.” “When it got stuck, she said she couldn’t stand for long periods of time.”

What did Cesar do? He built her a human bench.

The 23-year-old told his boss, who contacted Good News Network, that he would serve as a chair. “She was so thankful.”

He sacrificed himself for her comfort for a full 30 minutes, as seen in the photo taken by one of Larios’ workers.

Larios’ employer, the hilariously named College Hunks Hauling Junk, wrote on Facebook that Larios’ good deed was part of its quest “to make the world a better place.”

Co-Founder & President of College Hunks, Nick Friedman, said, “This was a great example of old-fashioned service and helping your fellow neighbor.” The response to the picture has been overwhelming. It is being shared and posted on social media by thousands of people. I think what’s great about it is that it’s an actual moment captured on camera. Many people say the younger generation has lost certain values. “One small picture shows that chivalry and hard work are still very much alive in our youth.”

The student could have ignored the old lady’s fatigue easily. She wasn’t his grandmother.

It was a good thing that he chose to help her instead, proving that a little bit of kindness can go a long way.
