Judith Grace Spear was born on February 22nd, at 2:22 a.m., making her a miracle. However, despite all those twos, there are a multitude of other signs that God is at work in this child’s life!
Aberli and Hank Spear of Burlington, North Carolina, had their first child, but it seemed like the number two was approaching from all sides. It was a February Tuesday – February 22 to be precise, or 2/22/22.
Judah Grace Spear, their newborn daughter, arrived at 2:22 a.m. in room 2 of the hospital.
When she arrived, she weighed 7 pounds and 10 ounces, which equals 122 ounces!
Despite the numerical analogies, Judah isn’t a miracle because of them. Hank Spear and Aberli Spear remember 2/22/22 because of the story behind this wonderful child.
What 2/22/22 Means To First-Time Parents
Judah’s parents would consider her the most astounding miracle no matter what time, place, or weight she arrived in. Angel Numbers (number sequences that repeat) are not required!
Aberli Spear was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and fought it for several years.
Despite winning the trial, physicians warned her and her husband, Hank, that they would have a difficult time conceiving.
Aberli and Hank Spear considered in-vitro fertilization as another method of conception. The cost, however, was prohibitive. As a result, the couple chose to entrust their fertility concerns to God.
“We hoped to have children,” Aberli explained.
Finally, Aberli and Hank learned they were expecting the baby they had always wished for. The couple thought their daughter would arrive on a different date than Aberli’s due date, which was February 22nd. Newborns rarely arrive on their due date.
The prospects for infant Judah were considerably slimmer once doctors realized that he had been breached. Around 11:50 p.m., on February 20th, Aberli was induced. The first-time mother then went into labor for 26 hours!
When they first arrived at the hospital, they were placed in birth room No. 3. However, the monitors in the room did not work. Personnel moved the couple to room No. 2 as a result.
Hank had a wild thought as the clock struck midnight on 2/22/22, which he shared with his mother-in-law.
It would be ridiculous if she waited another two hours,” he remarked.
That’s what happened! Baby Judah Grace Spear was born two hours later, at 2:22 a.m., on 2/22/22.
Mama Aberli described her baby as “a miracle.” “That’s why we chose the name Judah, which means praise, just praising God for fulfilling our wishes.”
It is the fulfillment of God’s promise that makes it a miracle, not the twos.
“It’s like looking at something that’s impossible and realizing it’s possible,” Aberli said. The narrator says, “It’s still a dream.”.
Faith is believing in things you cannot see (Hebrews 11:1). Judah Grace is the result of Aberli and Hank’s faith. They trusted the Lord to provide them with a child, and He did. This is the significance of the birthdate of 2/22/22. According to Aberli, it is crucial to share their experience in order to “inspire people to keep working and praying for what they want.”
“It will be worth it,” she continues, “because God answers every prayer.”
