Julio Cesar Mora Tapia and Walddramina Maclovia Quinteros Reyes have been married for 79 years.
The young lovers fell in love during Waldramina’s school vacation and married on February 7 of 1941. Since then, they’ve overcome all obstacles life has thrown at them.
Their families objected to their romance when they first met. That didn’t stop them.
As a result, our relatives did not have good relationships, but with time and patience, we were able to unite them, and we became an example and a reference to the younger generations.”
The love between Walddramina Maclovia Quinteros Reyes and Julio Cesar Mora Tapia blossomed into the resilient flower we see today.
Their wedding was a secret ceremony.

Waldramina and Julio’s story recently went viral. Everyone can now see their lasting love.
Guinness World Records just recognized them as the oldest married couple in the world.
In other words, they are the oldest married couple on the planet combined. The two of them have a combined experience of 214 years.
Julio and Waldramina have shared their wonderful lives for so long! Couples are made for each other.
Both of them were teachers when they were young. Now they’re contentedly retired, snug in the loving embrace of their family.
They enjoy cinema and large family dinners.
Waldramina and Julio have five children, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren!
Their family is their greatest achievement. The five children in their immediate family all graduated from college, something this couple is extremely proud of.
The lives of Julio and Waldramina have been filled with love and success despite initial hardships.
Their love remains unchanged as the world changes.
They have always been there for each other no matter what.

Congratulations to this beautiful couple. My husband and I also married early , going against arranged marriages… Last July , we were planning of celebrating our 40 th anniversary but could not due to the pandemic…We went to Hawaii instead…We are named the Happiest couple among our peers. And we have GOD and the Holy Spirit to thank for daily!
