Even if you are surprised by this article, there are many places in the world where you can buy live turtles to eat. Arron Culling and Mark, Arron’s co-worker, were also surprised when they visited Papua New Guinea. At the market, they saw two live turtles. As soon as they realized the turtles were meant to be bought for food, they bought them for $50 and released them into the ocean.
Mark and Arron have not done this for the first time. By saving 10 turtles from being eaten, they gave them a second chance at life.

Wow, that is so nice hear. There are so many good people in this world and we don’t always hear about the good things they do. For Christmas last year, I bought my granddaughters a bracelet where the money goes to help save turtles. Each one has their own turtle that they can track on their computers. They have a lot of fun watching to see where their turtles are right now.
