Weddings are typically about making the bride and groom feel special on their special day. A selfless sister, however, set up the opportunity for her twin with functional needs to share the spotlight. In October 2021, Morgan Watkins posted a video from her wedding day on TikTok. Morgan’s groom walked down the aisle with her twin sister Macey in tow. In order to match her sister, Macey wore a white dress and veil.
In the video, you can see the groom carefully climbing down a set of stairs and walking down the aisle. As Macey made her way past the crowd, the guests turned to watch her. During that special moment, she was looking around at all the guests, enjoying the attention. While carrying Macey, the groom was also smiling.
A bride set up this moment for her sister, saying she would cherish it forever. It means the world to her and her groom that she has a twin sister. Initially, Morgan fell in love with him because he loved her sister so much.
Macey doesn’t want to date or get married, so this was her chance to feel like a bride, just like her twin sister. There is an incredible bond between these two, and it is beautiful to witness such selflessness. Read on to learn more about Macey’s big moment on her sister’s wedding day.

Morgan wanted to celebrate her wedding with her family, especially Macey. Morgan wrote the following caption for her video:
It was a great honor for me to have my special needs twin sister attend my wedding with my fiancé, now my husband. I wanted her to have a special wedding day just like her twin sister. I will cherish it for the rest of my life! Look at how she just looks around at everyone like she’s on her throne, and this is why I fell in love with him because he loves her the same way I do.”
Globally, the TikTok video has gone viral and touched people’s hearts. The clip has been viewed over 74 million times and liked by 9 million users, with over 37,000 leaving their reactions and congratulations. Morgan replied, “As a mother with daughters who will never get married, this is so beautiful and selfless.”
This is why I did it. She won’t get married, she’s not interested in dating or anything. But I just wanted her to have that moment (for) herself.”
Morgan also said she couldn’t imagine her life without Macey. A commenter wrote: “Let me just say that we, the siblings of those with special needs, are truly blessed and fortunate. This very special moment has resonated with people everywhere, particularly with families of those with functional needs. They learn lessons others never will.”
As a result of the video’s popularity, Morgan has followed it up with more on her TikTok channel. Morgan shared a montage of images of her and Macey on their wedding day after being asked for photos. Their wedding photos highlight just how close they are and how incredibly loving it was for Morgan to share her wedding day with Macey.
During another video, Morgan shared photos and videos of her and Macey from when they were babies. She captioned the clip:
Several of you have asked for more Macey girl photos. She’s been my pride and joy since I was a baby. If you are a twin, I’m sure you can relate. She’s my best friend, my twin, and the reason I’m who I am today. I’m her voice, I’m her heart. Macey girl, I love you forever and always.
She confirmed in subsequent clips that she and Macey were twins and that they were 25 years old at the time of filming. As of now, they are 26 years old. As she added in another video, receiving so much love and support from the world meant a lot to her.
Morgan turned a day that was supposed to be about her love for her groom into a celebration of her love for her sister as well. The bride and groom are awesome, and we wish the entire family the best in the future.
